I started using Klairs Serum with a bit of apprehension. Partly because I had never used a serum and so didnt know if they really worked, as claimed, and partly because its a non-Indian brand so had never heard about it.
However, 2 months down the line, I can say its one of the best and the most promising skincare products I have ever used. By the way, Klairs is a Korean skincare brand and stands true to their image :)
The Klairs Vitamin C Serum which is a slightly viscous transparent liquid, feels extremely light and soothing on the skin. It feels like baby oil, but its not oily or sticky at all. I have oily patches on my face so I have to keep a safe distance from anything oily and this serum is perfectly moisturizing without being sticky.
I love to apply it on my face after my toner and before I start putting on makeup in the morning. I also apply it as my night regime. The dropper helps me put 2-3 drops on my face and as soon as I spread it, it gets completely absorbed into my skin.
Klairs Vitamin C serum has 2 key ingredients:
- Centella Asiatica Extracts, popularly known as Gotu Kola in India is prized as an important anti-ageing herb and possesses skin rejuvenation properties.
- L-Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C that is most effectively absorbed and metabolized by the skin) brightens and evens out skin tone. It retains skin moisture and plumps up fine lines and wrinkles making your skin look supple and healthy.
Suitable for all ages and skintype.
I wouldnt know how its priced as a friend gifted me this and a bottle of Klairs toner. I believe its not yet available in India, but if you're traveling and get a chance, do buy it. I would highly recommend this serum :)
